My initial impression on receiving the BeesNeez Oliver tube microphone is this is a very stylish serious piece of recording equipment, microphone and PSU both are solid and have some weight to them and build quality is simply excellent.
This is a great sounding microphone and exactly what I expected after researching and listening to the audio examples on BeesNeez webpage.
Sonically this is a good and honest microphone with which the small boost in the upper mid-frequencies is smooth & balanced helping to create an overall great sound capture. I’m very keen to utilize the Oliver tube mic on as many singers and different instruments, firstly getting some friends together to capture multiple vocals (or/and acoustic guitars) using the Omni polar pattern and exploring the others.
I Ordered the Oliver tube microphone Sunday arvo and received it a few days later.
I requested that courier didn’t leave it at door if I’m not there which BeesNeez promptly emailed back a copy of the sticker to be attached to parcel and clear instructions for courier. Great peace of mind
This being my 2nd microphone purchase from BeesNeez I have found Ben and BeesNeez staff very efficient and a pleasure to deal with.
I really like the unobtrusive size of the microphone and the cradle which is perfect.
Value for money is outstanding
Thank you
Ted
