Based on the same mechanical and acoustic design as our multi-pattern CK12, this capsule retains the complex multi-chambered structure that gives the CK12 its classic tone. The cardioid-only design makes it ideal for microphones that do not require omni or figure-8 operation.
Precision machining, lapping, and careful diaphragm alignment are used to achieve the accuracy and consistency expected from a true CK12-style capsule.

It sounds brighter than my life. In fact, it is the brightest out of every CK12 I’ve used or heard. For vocals, it sounds nice. It gives you a mixed ready sound. I recorded it in a couple of songs. It works great for modern R&B type vocals where airiness and brightness play an important role. I gave it 4 stars because it sounds too bright sometimes on the wrong type of vocal.
